With approximately one in eight women in Australia diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime, our brief was to communicate how a mammogram every two years could save their life.
We used a remarkable and deceptively simple demonstration to show that a breast cancer the size of a cherry can be detected by touch, but a breast screening mammogram can detect a breast cancer much earlier, when it is as small as a pea.
Campaign evaluation revealed a significant increase in awareness. |
