Without transport, many frail and elderly people live lonely and isolated lives. Being able to do the simple things we take for granted, like visiting the doctor or going shopping can be overwhelmingly difficult. But getting about is fundamental to a person’s independence and quality of life, and without it, your house can seem like a prison.
